In a horrifying incident in Rana village, Bilhor, a 26-year-old man identified as Suresh, also known as Karan, brutally attacked and killed 21-year-old Shanno Kashyap with an axe after she allegedly rejected his advances. The broad daylight murder took place near a flyover outside Rana village, catching Shanno off guard while she was on a bike with her brother-in-law and nephew.

Suresh attacked Shanno repeatedly on her head, neck, and hands, leading to her immediate death. The shocking crime prompted senior police officers to rush to the scene, launching a massive manhunt for the perpetrator.As the police intensified their search, they discovered Suresh in critical condition at a secluded location in Gaganpur Aahar, approximately 10 kilometers from the crime scene. Suresh had ingested poison and was frothing around the mouth.

Despite immediate transportation to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital, he succumbed to the poisoning during treatment. Preliminary investigations suggest that Shanno had rejected Suresh's advances, leading to the violent attack. The matter remains under investigation to determine the exact motive behind the tragic incident.
